Where’s the Teddy?
Please leave the poor woman who was jailed in the Sudan alone now she has been pardoned and safely returned to her home in Liverpool. She was foolish and did an insensitive, uninformed, foolish thing, and nearly paid a terrible price for her folly. Let’s allow her to move on. However, please make sure she is retrained before letting her loose in the UK’s Milti-ethnic schools - I certainly don’t want someone as ill informed as her teaching my children.
To all those members of the public asking on various on-line forums why the students who actually named the bear the M-word aren’t being punished – even suggesting that they should be - may I remind them the ’students’ were of primary school age. And by Miss Dimbo encouraging the children under her care to name the teddy after the Prophet of Islam she was putting them in real jeapody.
What concerns me now is what has happened to the one truly innocent in all this? Whats happened to the teddy bear?! Has he been ripped to pieces by a mob or pardoned, renamed, and returned to the children? BBC forget the crash of the housing market, soaring food and fuel prices, lose of 25 million HMRC records (the former boss just getting a cushy cabinet job!), the failing Northern Rock (senior members of staff getting a bonus!) and (General) Gordan Brown’s government meltdown (oh you have) and find the bear!
If anyone has any information about the Civil War service of Light Company A, Second U.S. Artillery, please contact me via this site. I am particularly interested in individual members of the battery - officers, non-commissioned officers or privates.
SPECIAL NOTICE: Over the next few weeks I will be migrating all the existing information about Battery A from this site to one decated to the subject. See Battery A 2nd US Artillery link in Blogroll below.
